ABOUT MOPOKE MRCH

Mopoke Mrch is a small art-driven label based on the Gold Coast, putting original hand-drawn artwork onto wearable streetwear staples. Every design is original, every garment is made to order, and every order is printed in Brisbane.

Where are your products made?

Our apparel is printed in Australia by The Print Bar, an award-winning printing company operating out of Brisbane (Meanjin) and Melbourne (Naarm). We don't hold stock — every order is produced specifically for you after you place it.

This means less landfill waste, less wasted energy, and no warehouses full of garments that may never be worn.

PRODUCTION & SHIPPING

How long until my order arrives?

Two stages: production, then shipping.

- Production: Approximately 2 weeks. Every garment is printed specifically for your order, which takes time to do properly.
- Shipping: Once your order leaves the printer, standard delivery to most of Australia takes 2-7 business days depending on your location.

Total time from order to delivery: typically 2.5-3.5 weeks.

If you need something faster, choose Express shipping at checkout. Express orders are still subject to the 2-week production window - Express only speeds up the shipping stage, not the printing.

What are the shipping costs?

Shipping is calculated by total order weight at checkout. Approximate rates:

Standard shipping
- Up to 500g: $10.80
- 501g - 1kg: $12.78
- 1kg - 3kg: $15.06
- 3kg – 5kg: $17.46
- Over 5kg: + $1.86 per kg

Express shipping
- Up to 500g: $15.72
- 501g – 1kg: $20.52
- 1kg – 3kg: $23.76
- 3kg – 5kg: $30.00
- Over 5kg: + $3.00 per kg

How is my order packaged?

All orders ship in 100% FSC-certified Kraft mailers. FSC certification means the packaging is made from responsibly managed forests — better for biodiversity, better for local communities, and better for the planet than standard plastic mailers.

Do you ship internationally?

Not yet. We currently ship within Australia only. International shipping may be added in the future — keep an eye on our newsletter for updates.

How do I track my order?

You'll receive a tracking number by email once your order has been dispatched from the printer.

PRINTING & GARMENT CARE

How are your designs printed?

We use DTF (Direct to Film) printing — a process where artwork is transferred from film onto fabric using heat and pressure. The result is bold colour, sharp detail, and a smooth premium finish that lasts.

Why does my print have a faint yellow outline?

This is called a fixation mark — it appears around fresh DTF prints during the curing stage. It's harmless and disappears after a single gentle cold wash. Nothing to worry about.

How should I care for my Mopoke Mrch garment?

To keep your print looking sharp:

Recommended:
- Cold machine wash, delicate cycle
- Inside-out, with similar colours
- Hang dry, out of direct sunlight

Avoid:
- Ironing directly over the print (iron inside-out only if essential)
- Tumble drying
- Dry cleaning
- Bleach, fabric softener, or harsh chemicals

All fabric and prints experience some natural wear over time through washing, sunlight, and use. Following the care instructions above will keep both fabric and print looking their best for years.

SIZING

How do I find the right size?

Each product page has a size guide specific to that garment style. Sizing varies between unisex, women's, and kids' cuts — please check the relevant size guide before ordering.

If you're between sizes or unsure, contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL] before placing your order. Because each garment is printed to order, we can't accept returns for wrong-size selection.

RETURNS, CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Can I return an item?

We accept returns only for items that are:
- Faulty
- Damaged in transit
- Incorrectly printed

We can't accept returns for change of mind or wrong size selection. This is because every Mopoke Mrch garment is made specifically for you after your order is placed — we don't hold stock. Returning a made-to-order garment means it can't be resold, which is the opposite of the low-waste, sustainable approach we're trying to maintain.

How do I request a return?

Email us within 14 days of receiving your order at [CONTACT EMAIL] with:

- Your order number
- The item(s) affected
- A clear description of the issue
- Photos of the fault or damage

We'll review and respond within 2 business days to organise a replacement or refund.

Important notes:
- Worn, washed, or stained items cannot be accepted for return
- Photos must be taken before any attempt at washing or repair
- Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval

Can I cancel my order?

Orders are sent into production immediately after payment, so cancellations are difficult. We may be able to stop your order before printing begins, but a $35 per item cancellation fee applies to cover the supplier processing costs.

The cancellation window is short — usually just a few hours from order placement. The faster you contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL], the better the chance.

If your order has already entered production, it can't be cancelled.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Nothing on this page excludes, restricts, or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

PAYMENTS

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and Afterpay.

Is checkout secure?

Yes. Checkout is handled by Shopify Payments, which is PCI-compliant and processes payment data securely. We don't store your card details.

ARTWORK & COPYRIGHT

Can I commission a custom design?

Not at this stage. All artwork is original and curated by Mopoke Mrch.

Can I use the artwork from my purchase elsewhere?

When you buy a Mopoke Mrch product, you're buying the physical garment only — not the rights to the artwork on it. All designs remain the intellectual property of the artist and are protected by copyright. Reproducing, publishing, or communicating the artwork without permission isn't allowed.
