Mopoke Mrch is the creative work of Pip, a multidisciplinary artist based on the Gold Coast, working from a creekside studio surrounded by native bushland. This landscape finds its way into almost everything she creates, from drawings, paintings, photography and ceramics to the apparel and tote bags featured in this collection.

With over three decades of artistic practice, Pip holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of New South Wales and a Diploma of Fine Arts from TAFE NSW, specialising in Photomedia and Printmaking. These disciplines continue to influence her distinctive visual style and approach to image-making.

Life drawing and careful observation have long been at the heart of Pip's practice. More recently, those hand-drawn foundations have merged with digital illustration, giving rise to Mopoke Mrch—a collection of original artworks transformed into thoughtfully designed, wearable pieces and limited edition art prints.

Throughout her career, Pip has also worked as a freelance photographer, screen printer and graphic designer, experiences that are layered into the graphic quality of her work. Currently she is an Art teacher in QLD schools and does the odd workshop for adults and children.
